Morning everyone and what a lovely sunny morning ... so far!!!

I am proud to announce that I am now on the DT of Sweet Sketch Wednesday and Crafty Creations Challenges.

I am so looking forward to all the challenges that lie ahead for all the blogs I am on will be designing for and hope you will come over and join in the fun.

I have been a bit busy this week so haven't made any cards ... I have my first granddaughter arrived on Monday night ... Ruby Louise ... she is so beautiful.

Just Words!!!

No Image ... Just Words - Ruby's Rainbow Challenge

I have made this as part of the Design team for Ruby's Rainbow - No image ... Just Words. This was difficult for me as I don't normally do this type of card. I have used the Marianne Die ... Large Ovals. The paper I have printed ... it is from Pink Petticoat. The sentiment is vellum and I had in a book I bought years ago ... it is so true!!! I added a satin ribbon to finish off.

Summer Scene - Crafty Creations Challenge

I do love this bear, he is just the sweetest. I have used an image from a decoupage sheet , he looks so relaxed .. not doing much gardening lol.  The paper is from Docrafts ... Beautiful paper pack ...  which I distressed around the edges a bit with a distressing tool. The tag is from LOTV ... can't remember where the sentiment is form. The flower border is one of  my favourites from Memory Box, I wrapped some ribbon around it and added some pearls. The butterfly is a Clip Punch and added pearls to finish it off.

I hope we have more days like these ... not holding out much hope!!!

Old Timer !!!

Old Timer - My Time To Craft Challenge - Milestone Birthdays

I used this wonderful Wellington bear for my creation for Design Team for My Time To Craft - Milestone.

I have used the pre coloured version of the bear this time ... isn't he just lovely. The paper is from the Wellington Bear paper pack. I have used one of the Spellbinder labels to matt the picture onto. I added the pocket watch as an embellishment and also wrapped around some bakers twine. The number  I embossed using an Cuttlebug embossing folder, I think, I have so many. I distressed a little with Vintage Photo distress inks, added pearls to the corners and matted all onto a scalloped card blank.

For this card I have used a Teddy Bea image. I used papers that I got free with a magazine ... Prima Botanical Collection, as was the chipboard piece I used for the stopper. I distressed the paper with my distressing tool, then went round the edges of paper and chipboard piece with Vintage Photo distress ink ( I sanded the chipboard piece around the edges first to key the edges). I mounted the image and papers onto a deep red card and adhered to card blank. The second paper, I tore a strip and distressed that, again with the distress ink. I added a sentiment and some glitter to finish off.

Hasn't it been a wonderful day today, no rain for a change and lots of sun ... hope we get lots more!!!

I have made this card using the Mulberry Wood CD by Crafters Companion. Thesnowman image and the backing paper are from the CD. I have matted them onto red card. I then cut 4 snowflake borders from a Memory Box Die and joined them to make a frame. I added some pearls to finish off and a touch of stickles glitter on the hat and scarf.

I have entered this into the My Craft Creations challenge, the prize being from Crafters Companion and you are able to spend it either on the Crafter Companion or the Beaders Companion website ... cool.

A close up of mask and micas, I love the sheen.



I have made this card to apply for DT team at Creative Expressions.

I started off by stamping around my card blank with a tree stamp, just using top branches ... with a mint pigment ink pad and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I then used a leaf mask which I embossed on my Grand Calibur. I used Versamark through the mask and then brushed on mica powder ( these are just fantastic when the light hits them). I cut into quarters and matted onto brown card and added then to main card.

I used some fine hession type fabric as a border.

I coloured it Lolita ( from Saturated Canary) with copics, The clouds and ground were done with chalks adding a few birds in the sky with a black pen. I cut out and stamped around the edges with a stamp called 'Field of Sky' by Stamp Addicts ( a very useful stamp). I then again mouted on brown card. I added a tree cut using a Memory Box die painting the leaves with Mica Paints. I used a ticket stamp for the sentiment which I stapled to the corner. I then added to card.

Lastly I added some buttons with a bow from bakers twine.

I have used this gorgeous little girl digital stamp from Mo Manning. The papers are from Nitwits ... So Berry Special. This lovely border is cut from a Memory Box die, I added little flowers with pearls and butterflies. The sentiment is from LOTV and added the little heart to finish off. The card blank is from Joanna Sheen.

This is the card I have made as part of the Design Team for Ruby's Rainbow.

I have used a stamp I have had a long time that I had from The Stamp Man, I coloured with copics. The backing card is from Kanban, I got this in a TSV from QVC, again years ago - well you know how hard it is use nice cardstock lol. The borders are from Memory Box. It has been finished off with glitter and pearls.

My Craft Room

This is the place where I spend most of my time.

Storage for all my pens etc.

Inside the cupboard door, just some of my dies, the rest are in folders along with my embossing folders.

My ribbon storage, I have each colour in a different box.

It isn't altogether finished, still have some sorting and labelling to do.

My Guest Designer Card - Quirky Crafts

Schools Out For Summer

I was asked by Quirky Crafts to be Guest Designer this month and was given this digi image to work with - called Shells for sale by Robyn's Fetish. I added an oval border around the image before I printed and coloured her with copics. I cut out a scaloped shape with a spellbinder die. I printed a couple of papers and matted everything onto brown card each time leaving a small border. I adhered onto a scalloped 8x8 card blank, adding some a star, mesh and shells. Lastly I cut a couple of banners using a memory box die.

Hi, I hope you have all had a great day, the weather has been fabulous here.

I made this card using the lovely LOTV stamp - Special Delivery, which I coloured with copics. The sentiment is also LOTV. I have used papers from the Forever Friends Baby pad which I have had a good while but I hate cutting into my papers lol. The dies I have used are from Memory Box, I so love these dies and trying to collect as many as I can afford lol. I can't remember what the teddy punch is, I have had it about 12 years. I finished it all off with some pearls.

I have made this card using the new Morehead CD from Crafters Companion. The images are just gorgeous. I printed one of the topper sheets. The papers are also from the CD. I cut some borders using Marianne Doily border punch and added some ribbon along the top edge. The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat. The corners are a Meory Box die, the flowers an EK Success punch. I finished off with a couple of pearls in the centers of the flowers. I added it all to an 8x8 scalloped card blank.

Delicious Doodles are having a DT call, and this is the image we have to use to apply. I coloured the image with copics and cut around the image, I rounded it a bit and stuck it to a base image using silicon. I added some glitter on the icing and some glossy accents on the strawberry. The papers I have used are from Nitwits - So Berry Special. I cut some swirls from a Memory Box die and added a flower with a brad in the center. I finished with a bit of faux stitching and some pearls.

I have made this card for the follow challenge:

My Craft Creations

I have used a Saturated Canary image and coloured with copics. I cut out and  mounted onto a Go Kreate scalloped square which I cut from brown card. The papers I have used are Nitwits - Fairytale Dreams. I then added two memory box corners and decorated with some pearls. I have used some purple card candy to finish off the sketch design. I have mounted the whole thing on an 8x8 scalloped card.
